Were you single when the baby was born? if so the baby should be taken and put up for adoption..10 minutes of pleasure for a lifetime of hardship, plus draining do gooder agencies for hand out's..in my opinion the United States would be a better place - everyone knows the cause..have 5 more babies and your income will be off the charts.
I want something durable and that has good cushion because my heels bruise easily. Which is better for this of the two.

Do any of the carbon offset sellers of trees provide insurance on your purchase? For instance, suppose someone gives money to an organization in Africa and they plant trees in a plot of land they bought (also denying the local population of farmable land, irrigation, and denying the land use by animals). Do any of these organizations provide insurance against natural disasters, illegal logging, set fires, or political land confiscation from governments (like what happens in Zimbabwae). Your investment in these tree offsets would need to be kept alive for decades of years, if not hundreds. One day, you might find yourself living a life with no offsets because artillery fire from a new war obliterates the tree plot you invested in. What then, especially if you find out you need to purchase credits for your past 50 years to make up for it.
Also insurance against vegetation disease and from other wildlife.
I have checked with different groups, and none have, or will answer my question (amazingly, the only way to contact some of these groups is through email).
Carbon offsets are a good idea for big industry, for individuals, not so much.
For industry, targets are set for carbon reductions. Then trading credits lets those targets be met by the companies that can do it most cheaply. That's great for society in general. It worked very well for SO2, the cause of "acid rain".
For individuals they're more a "feel good" thing. There are no targets. Unlike big companies individuals have no way to check whether the people they're buying the credits from are doing what they say they will, efficiently.
Individuals would do better to spend their money on things they actually control. Like better insulation, lighting, programmable thermostats, more efficient heating and cooling, more efficient transportation, etc. They'll also save money in the long run.
http://www.betterglobe.eu better globe do not believe in just charity, but we do believe strongly in “self-help” and will support poor people in Africa based on principles of profitability. This way they can be self-sustained and able to work themselves out of poverty.
