I want to eat more naturally, in order to live more naturally but I don't know where to start. I am also on a limited income (if that matters).
Buy organic foods. Drink spring water (not in bottles. Find a local spring. They are around). Wear clothing made from wool or cotton, avoiding man made synthetics.
In the beginning it may cost a little more. But that should be offset with potentially lower medical bills.

Cut down on any pre-packaged products that you buy. For example, don't buy soup mixes, cake mixes, Hamburger Helper, pasta sauce, etc., which are all things that you can make cheaper, and easier, from scratch. The Food Network says that frozen veggies are quite often cheaper than fresh (unless they're in season & on sale), so you can buy quantity-sized bags and steam what you need - put the bags into freezer bags and use as needed. Frozen vegetables are just about the same in nutrition as fresh, as long as they aren't over cooked - but NEVER used canned veggies (overcooked & too much sodium)

The FEINGOLD DIET. Do a Google search. Amazing diet with out sacrifice. It eliminates artificial colors, flavors, preservatives. People on a budget live with this diet just fine. It can be mostly organic stuff, but it substitutes alternatives as well. Like instead of Regular PopTarts by the organic (actually cheaper at WalMart.) Choose Breyers all natural over the other stuff. Small things make a big difference. We have so many choices these days. Not just at Whole Foods and the like, but regular grocery stores as well.

natural eating means eating natural foods. Meaning, only eating fresh, unprocessed foods, mostly plants, vegetables, grains.
